Farmer-Led Webinar Series “Farmer Friday” Launches on Zoom

March 20, 2023 - PrairieFood™ is excited to announce the launch of the webinar series, "Farmer Friday," featuring farmer-to-farmer conversations with expert speakers in soil health and regenerative agriculture practices. The first event will occur on Friday, March 24th, at 12 pm central time on Zoom.

Hosted by Jessica Gnad, Director of Marketing for PrairieFoodTM, "Farmer Friday" will showcase some of the best practices and innovations in sustainable regenerative through discussions with leading farmers and experts. The series will cover various topics including soil health, crop rotations, cover crops, conservation tillage practices, water management, and more.

Featuring weekly expert speakers, including Brandon Hunnicutt from Giltner, Nebraska; Todd Tobin from Iuka, Kansas; Dale Strickler from Kansas; and Jimmy Emmons from Leedy, Oklahoma. These experts will share their knowledge and experience in soil health and regenerative agriculture practices.

Brandon Hunnicutt is a graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Ag Business, and he currently serves on the National Corn Growers Association Board of Directors. Todd Tobin is a leader in soil health, focusing on soil health "at scale" and livestock integration in his operation. Dale Strickler is an author and consultant with over 30 years of experience in agronomy, pasture management, and soil and crop advising. Jimmy Emmons is a nationally recognized no-till farmer, regenerative rancher, and soil-health expert and senior vice president of climate-smart programs at Trust In Food, Farm Journal’s sustainable agriculture division.
